דר נכבד בבדיקות דם מקצועיות אובחן אצלי חשד לפגיעה במח עצם. הנני סובל מתלסמיה אשר למיטב זכרוני התפתחה בעשור האחרון. ברצוני לציין כי בשנות השמונים המוקדמות השתמשתי בתרופה לטיפול במחלת עור שמה הוא " אוקסוראלן " אשר המרכיב הפעיל הייו " מטוקסלאן " שהוא טוקסי. זמן השימוש היה כשנה רציפה תוך מעקב ובדיקות דם באותה העת. האם תתכן פגיעה מאוחרת במח עצם והופעת תלסמיה לאחר השימוש בתרופה. אודה לתשובתך. יוסי.

תלסמיה היא דבר מולד ולא נרכש ולכן אינו יכול להיות תוצאה של תרופה. לגבי נזק רחוק טווח למח העצם - ככלל, לא ידוע על תופעות כאלה כמשהו שכיח, אבל מצאתי 2 תאורי מקרים ישנים של התפתחות לאוקמיה אצל מי שטופל בעבר בתרופה זו, ומקרה אחד של MDS (תסמונת מילודיספלסטית): 1: Clin Exp Dermatol 1985 Mar;10(2):144-6 Acute myelomonocytic leukaemia developing in a patient with psoriasis treated with oral 8-methoxypsoralen and longwave ultraviolet light.
