No menstrual bleeding -Loosing weight

Dear Dr. Logomar: I am an Israeli who lives in NY. My daughter who turned 20 on March 15 didn't get her period for one whole year. A year ago she went to a gynecologist who tolled her not to worry. At that time she was getting her period about twice a year. She didn't have problem with her period for the first 6 years. During the last year my daughter lost a lot of weight. Her height is 5'8" AND her weight was 118lb the last time we checked it. (two weeks ago) she is also physically active doing a lot of walks AND swimming. Any medical term I don't understand I will put " " to it. I might get clarification for some of these terms if needed. We visited an endocrinologist who sent her for blood test.
