hello dr. my name is yoni, im Israeli and I live in ny, I just had my mri done and I want to get your opinion as for the impression: This is the radiologist report: Mri of the lumbosacral spine was performed and the sagittal t1, t2, pd and the axial t2 and pd images Were obtained. This examination demonstrates a normal alignment of the lumbar vertebrae without Evidence of spondylolisthesis. There is a straighteningof lumbar spine note due to muscular spasm. The contour of thethecal sac is intact. There is a RIDGE DISC complex noted at level of l4-l5 and at level of l5-s1. The visualized exiting neural foramina are patent and the facet articulations appear intact. The paraspinal sost tissues are noted unremarkably. Impression: Ridge disc complex at level of l4-l5, l5-s1 Straighteninig due to muscular spasm. Minimal ridge disc complex at l2-l3. My quations to you, 1- What is the definition in Hebrew for RIDGE DISC? Is it - היצרות דיסק or בלט דיסק or ניוון דיסק ? 2- Will I ever need to go to operation? Can physical therapy treatment for like 2-3 month or more can eliminate the operation for sure? 3- I love to play soccer, can I still play on a soft synthetic grass? 4- How bad is my situation, based on the report of course...
