Hello and my apologize for writing in english I do not have a Hebrew keyboard. Recently my son had scarlet fever and I probably got it from him I only had pain in my throat a bit of fever nothing special simple flu. 2 or 3 weeks after I am covered with red spots all over my body, I went to the dermatologist and they told me that this is probably (90%) psoriasis, it indeed look like Gutatte psoriasis, but my question is I am 41 year old and this is young people disease, is this possible? I dont have anyone in my family with psoriasis, and never had anything on my skin. Is this is possible? Everything is extremely slow here and I am waiting for the biopsy results, for now I am treated with Dovobet but this is almost impossible to apply it on every spot not to mention that this is damaging the skin. I desperately need an advise and I do understand that without seeing the skin it's impossible, I just need some reassurance that this case of Psoriasis is possible in my age and alternative treatment suggestions rather then corticosteroids.
