Shalom Dr. Noyman, My name is Anne. I go to Baruch with Adam AND he suggested me to write you. I have Achromatopsia (Photopobia,Color blindness AND I see 20/200- here in the US I am considered legally blind).. I know that there is nothing to do with this condition. But I just wanted to know if you know any new information about this disease. Since I was a baby I was treated in Tel Hashomer hospital until they told me that my condition is static. Thank you for your time, Anne Schlachter

Hi Anne, I am no expert of retinal diseases, but as far as I know, there was no "break through" in this field. Look into the following URL for best tinted glasses for achromatopsia, If you find it helpful. http://www.noir-medical.com/achrom.htm The best man to consult with about Achromatopsia will be Prof. Lewis in Texas. I have pasted the detail of his clinic for you. (Also if u will be interested in genetic counseling in the future, OR what will be the best tint for your sunglasses, for example.)
