Lyme disease- My symptoms which have commenced 5 months ago included transient numbness, tingling, pain, burning sensations AND muscle twitching in the face AND the limbs. Medical tests including CT, CTangio, MRI of the brain AND cervical spine, neurological AND blood tests were all OK. Should the possibility of a Lyme disease investigated? In addition, approximately 1-1.5 years ago I had a funny looking rush on my upper left leg which have persisted for at least several weeks. My family doctor in Midreshet Sede Boqer suggested it was contact dermatitis. Around this time I have experienced one week of extreme tiredness, the doctor suggested that it was a virus. The results of the MRI, CT AND blood tests exclude the possibility of diseases such as multiple sclerosis, brain tumours, narrowing of blood vessels to the brain AND in the brain, OR thickening of the blood (``krishiyut yeter``). The tests also exclude the possibility of pressure on the nerves in the cervical spine. I understand that several other conditions can also produce similar symptoms like tumours in the lung AND fibromylagia. My family doctor, however, did not think that it was worthy to evaluate these possibilities. I am worried as I am sure that the symptoms indicate the occurrence of some sort of a negative process in the body. Regards,

Hello Eric, - If you live (or have visited) an endemic region for Lyme Such a diagnosis should be considered. All the best Efy
