Eyes surgery

Hello First of all, I'm sorry for the English but I am in NY now AND I do not have Hebrew keyboard. I'm 28 years old AND I have Glasses with the number 8 in my both eyes, also half cilinder in each eye. I did tests in order to check if I can make a laser surgery AND the answer was negative because my "karnit" is not thick enough. My question i, do you know if thtere is a way to help people in my condition??
