Marrow signal: Marrow endplate degenerative change at C5-6 and C6-7. Intervertebral discs: Diffuse degenerative disc desiccation. Moderate disc space narrowing and endplate discogenic change at C5-6 and C6-7. Spinal canal contents: Cord normal in signal. No epidural mass or fluid collection. Atlanto-occipital articulation: Unremarkable. Atlanto-axial articulation: Unremarkable. Atlantal-dens interval maintained. Evaluation of the individual cervical disc levels demonstrates the following: **C2-3:** No significant canal stenosis or foraminal narrowing. **C3-4:** Annular disc bulge. Flattening of the cord and mild canal stenosis. The canal measures 9.5 mm in AP dimension. Moderate to severe right and moderate left foraminal narrowing due to uncovertebral hypertrophy and facet arthropathy. Impingement of the exiting right C4 nerve root is suspected. No change. **C4-5:** Broad-based disc osteophyte complex. Flattening of the cord and mild canal stenosis. The canal measures 9.4 mm in AP dimension. Moderate bilateral foraminal narrowing due to uncovertebral arthropathy and facet arthropathy. Moderate left facet arthropathy. No change. **C5-6:** Broad-based disc osteophyte complex. Flattening of the cord and moderate canal stenosis. The canal measures **6.5 mm** in AP dimension. Moderate to severe bilateral foraminal narrowing due to uncovertebral hypertrophy and facet arthropathy. Impingement of the exiting bilateral C6 nerve roots is suspected. No change. **C6-7:** Broad-based disc osteophyte complex. Flattening of the cord and mild to moderate canal stenosis. The canal measures **7.3 mm** in AP dimension. Moderate to severe right and moderate left foraminal narrowing due to uncovertebral hypertrophy and facet arthropathy. Impingement of the exiting right C7 nerve root is suspected. No change **IMPRESSION:** 1. Mild reversal of the cervical lordosis. 2. At C4-5, there is flattening of the cord and mild canal stenosis due to a broad-based disc osteophyte complex. 3. At C5-6, there is flattening of the cord and moderate canal stenosis due to a broad-based disc osteophyte complex. 4. At C6-7, there is mild to moderate canal stenosis and cord flattening due to a broad-based disc osteophyte complex. 5. No abnormal cord signal. 6. Multilevel foraminal narrowing as described. .
