folic acid - please help!

I am 38. I’ve just discovered that I am pregnant. I am a post in the states. Since I haven’t planed this pregnancy (although very happy about it), I havn’t taken folic acid. I know in my age I should have. What is the recommended doze ? I should mention my sister (42) had an annacephalus embryo and had to go trough abortion. Your advice is very much appreciated! I can read Hebrew
