Similar Issue

Hi, I was quite amazed to read your message since we have a 1 year AND 8 months child which behaves very much alike what you described. He is also very slow with talking. I was thinking at first that it is because he is exposed to more than one language AND that we are missing the wide family relations since we live abroad. But still the lack of self confidence, the reluctantcy to loud noices AND other peoples company AND also his constant wish to stay with us. We had the exact same scene you described in a Gymboree class... It would be quite interesting to hear more from you AND also to share any advice you get regarding this.
