Dear Doctor, I am 53 years old and my periods have stopped now for three months. I feel fine and so far haven't had any definite menopausal symptoms. However, I am afraid of Osteoporosis- can I take HRT to prevent this or is it only given if one has typical menopusal symptoms ?Thanking You

Dear Doctor, What can I take as an alternative then to prevent 'Dowager's Hump' and Osteoporosis? Should I take Fosselan or is Calcium sufficient? Please advise. Thanks
