HSG

Hello, I live in the UK AND have problems conceiving. I have done several tests AND they all indicate that my partner has low sperm count AND low mobility. I want to do IUI but the doctors here insist I do an HSG first AND take 200 mg of doxycycline per day for 7 days to avoid infections. The Dr in Israel do not think this is necessary to do HSG. My questions are: do I have to do it? What are the fertility risks of HSG AND antibiotic If I do the HSG on day 11 can I have sex on day 13 AND onwards. Is there any danger in falling pregnant while taking the antibiotic as above? I will be so grateful for your answer it is really hard to get answers to that here Also apologies for writhing in English, psl feel free to respond in Hebrew. Thanks again
