Left side after stroke

Hi, My father had a stroke around a week ago. He recognizes people AND he started to speak (not clear at all). He cannot move his left side of the body at all, while the right side is OK Is there any chance to bring the left side into good level Another question - Is it recommended to do additional CT scan after a week from the stroke (he had one after around 30 hours AND since then he did not have any)
