I was diagnosed lately with HCM I'm 30 years old AND did not suffer from any symptomsj untill two weeks ago. I surved in the army for 5 years AND always was active in sports AND did not feel any problem . In the ECO test the cardiologist discovered 2cm tickness of the upper part of the septum without blocking The symptoms I recently have are lighthead feeling with short breath I'm treated with Beta Receptor blocker CONCOR 2.5 mg AND TILAZEM 90 The CONCOR was prescribed 3.75 mg a day for 6 months period AND the TILAZEM 90mg a day for one month only I would like to know the following: Is 2cm tickness without blocking is a mild ,moderate OR severe case? Are the medication I use are appropriate ? Is there a possibility to finish the period of medication treatment OR is it for life? Are there more test that you recommend to do OR is it sufficient? When normally should one feel an improvement in symptoms appearance? And finnaly: Why it appears NOW after all these years in action ? You can answer in Hebrew Thanks so much!

HI U should go to a specialist in this disease. basicaly the medictions U are taking are OK. It all depends if U have symptoms. U should have an ECHO once a year AND a 24h Holter and I would also perform a "stress ECHO" thanks
