is it ok to use a cream called EMLA during pregnancy? this is an anasthetic cream which i need to apply for the purpose of numbing before using electrolysis for hair removal

הי אילת, אני שאלתי את אותה השאלה ובנוסף אם בכלל מותר לעשות אפילציה בעזרת מחט חשמלית במהלך הריון (אני עדיין לא בהריון). אולי את יודעת קצת יותר ממני ותוכלי לתת לי אינפורמציה כי יש פה תשובות שונות באתר. מצאתי קצת אינפורמציה על המשחה וההשפעות בהריון ב- http://www.infomed.co.il/drug1.asp?dID=144, תסתכלי באזהרות מיוחדות. אני רוצה לעשות אפילציה במפשעה ובבית השחי (השאלה שלי מה-24.10, בערך 20:00). אורית.

as far as i know it is carachterized as type B medicine, which means that no testing was done on human beings but when done with animals no side effects were shown my family doctor said i could use it but i do not trust her and that is the reason for my question i will see a gynechologist on tuesday and hope to get more information from her. will try to remember to let you know what she said, but meanwhile i wdid not use it. by the way, epilation itself is fine and poses no risk. only a lot of pain
