pregnant in the US - whoever knows

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and living in the US. How different are the treatments and check-ups here comparing to Israel. Is there anything that is not offered here and recommended to take privately??? I already notice that I'm not scheduled for many tests. Thank you

First allow me to congratulate you! Yes, there are allot of thing that are not done in the States. 1. There are only 1-2 Ultrasound during the pregnancy 2. They will not recommend/offer any of those special tests like “HELBOM OBARI” OR “MEY SHAFIR”. (please excuse me for writing them in Jebrish, I don’t now the proper English terms for them) Those tests are very uncommon, their price is very high and because of the fact that not allot of the doctors practice them, the risk of doing them is much higher. For your information: I have a friend that flew to Israel to take those tests (it was cheaper…!) Hope I helped you!
