telesemia minor

hello, I am 27 years old and found out that I am pregnant last week, I am on my 6th week, I have telesimia minor - got it from my mom who got it from her mom, I don't live in Israel, I am going to go to a doctor tomorrow, what should I ask or tell the doctor, cause here I think that they don't even have telesimia - I live in Brazil, can I take iron... should I take folic acid... what exams do we need to do - me and my husband, please let me know, I am very worried, this pregnancy is a huge surprise for us... thank you.
