swollen lymph nodes in armpit and neck

hi dr!!!! two months ago i was in abeach in south america and got burned in a severe way...couple of days after i had a swollen lymph node in my armpit. can it be swollen till now because of that burning in the skin? why do lymph node swell ? my lymph node in armpit is still swollen. couple of days after i did peircing in my nipple and my ear...can it be the reason that the lymph noode is still swollen.. can it swell for that long because of two peircings? i am afraid very much that it is something like cancer... my white blood cells were normal in a blood test. thank you avi
