Contraction of the testicle

When my boyfriend and I have sex, his right testicle contracts up into his body, sometimes numerous times. He says it doesn't hurt, and it always drops down after a few seconds. Is this something he should have checked out by a doctor?

Very simple check up he may pass in due course care of surgeon for Hernia early diagnosis.
