Doctor, We have a new born with an isolated incomplete cleft lip , we live in the US. We'd like to know who is the best plastic surgeon out there to fix such a deformity either in the US OR worldwide. Money is no isuue. Thanks
Hello Yuval, Congratulations to you for having a newborn baby. Good luck AND a lot of happiness. About a good surgeon: in USA you can find a good AND famous clinic in NYU University. But, my warm recommendation is certainly of the Cleft Lip AND Palate Clinic in Meir Medical Center in Israel. Our plastic surgeon is Prof. Lior Rozenberg. A great AND famous surgeon with a lot of experience in the field of cleft lip AND palate surgeries. He is really a talented AND qualified surgeon. Anyhow, you are welcome with any question. הי יובל נולדה לנו תינוקת עם שפה שסועה חד צדדי ברמה קלה (incomplete). היות והבעיה התגלתה עוד ברחם, השקענו הרבה מאמץ בבחירת מנתח מתאים. בשבוע שעבר היא עברה ניתוח בבה"ח איכילוב ע"י ד"ר דויד לשם. הצלקת עדיין לא החלימה לחלוטין, אך כבר אפשר להגיד כי הוא עשה עבודה נהדרת. מעבר לכך - הוא פשוט אדם אנושי ומקסים. קיבלנו תמיכה רבה ממנו ומכל צוות חיך ושפה שסועה.
