ד"ר מור תודה על תשובתך בנדון. בבדיקות דם שעשיתי לאחרונה הודגמו הממצאים הבאים בקשר לטוקסופלזמיס (או משהו דומה, סליחה על השיבוש) להלן:"טוקסו": טוקסו IGG 28.50 פוזיטיב, טוקסו IGM נגטיב. האם הממצאים מורים על כך שאני מחוסנת מפני המחלה ואם כן האם זה מבטיח לי "שקט" מבעיה כזו? שאלתי הנוספצ בקשר לקדחת שריטת החתול: אם "אחטוף" את זה שוב חלילה בהריון, יש בכך סיכון לעובר? תודה רבה על תשובתך.

the fact that IGG is positive means that you were infected in the past with toxoplasma gondii , but this disease will always sit "dormant" in your tissues , usually not causing any problem , it could infect the fetus in an early stage of the pregnancy but rarely causing any symptoms (blindness of the fetus or abortion) but dont be alarmed as these symptoms are rare , but they usualy check it just to be aware of the problem , , and you will be suprised that recent studies show that close to 30 percent of all people have been infected in the past or present. but there is a vaccine for toxoplasmosis , its called toxvax , but im not sure they use it in israel. but dont worry , just be aware of it. and you and your family should wash your hands after handling the cat alot or especially after cleaning his litter box. by the way , mazal tov for the baby

שרית שלום, ע"פ התוצאות של הטוקסופלזמה נראה כי בעבר נתקלת במחלה כיוון שרמת הנוגדנים IGG גבוהה לעומת זאת רמת הנוגדנים IGM שלילית כלומר אינך חולה באופן פעיל כעת. לכן נראה לי שהתשובות בסדר, אך כיוון שאני וטרינרית ולא רופאה הומנית התיעצי עם הרופא המטפל שלך, כנ"ל גם לגבי שרטת החתול.
