I was diagnosed with a very high count of mono/epstein barr virus a few months ago AND have been continuing to struggle with fatigue. I am about to get married AND have been on birth control (nuvaring) for 2 months. Do you think that birth control will compromise my weakend immune system? I have heard that it will; however the nuvaring is supposed to be better than regular pills. Please advise AND if possible in english. Thank you
birth control means do not weaken the immune system any way it is not a common practice to withhold the usage of these means while having intercourent infection sincerely Dr. Cohen
