Hi, the reason for intermenstrual bleeding could arise from several clinical conditions, taking pills with a delay AND using alcohol can result in this kind of bleeding/ i would advise her to continue with the same pack as long as she had eight hour delay. If the delay was longer OR mor ehtan one pill was forgotten the best is to start a new pack/ the chances for pregnancy are not high
