שימו לב למכתב הבא של מטופלת שהחלימה ממספר גידולים בשד ללא ניתוח, ללא כימותרפיה וללא הקרנות. My doctor, Prof. Friedrich Douwes, did a new fine needle biopsy, whose results came in today. As I expected, I'm cancer-free. I've been told that these letters are passed on to a great many people, posted on various websites, and especially circulated among cancer patients, and a number of you have asked me to summarize my story once more, and include contact info for the hospital. So okay, here goes... A few weeks ago I arrived in Bad Aibling with a 3.5 cm malignant carcinoma in my left breast, and 3 smaller satellite tumors. 2 of these have vanished, the 3rd is clear. The large primary tumor is clear. My "aggressive" treatments have included 3 ECTs (Electro Cancer Therapy, aka galvanotherapy, or direct electrocutions to the tumors), 9 local hyperthermia treatments (mild localized heat generated by short wave - like a barely noticeable heat lamp). NO surgery, NO chemotherapy, NO radiation, nothing which can damage the body or compromise the health. Additional treatments included immunotherapy(megavitamin infusions, thymus injections, Chinese herbs) and physiotherapy (massage, foot reflexology, oxygen inhalation, etc.) - and every day I have had BodyTalk or Reiki sessions to address the emotional causes of the cancer. Dr. Douwes is the director of the hospital and one of the world's leading specialists in the treatment of cancer. He is a brilliant and intuitive healer, whose positive attitude and dedication to his patients inspire all of us with hope. St. George Hospital (Klinik St. Georg, in German) is not an "alternative" or naturopathic clinic, but a normal internal medicine hospital which practices "complementary medicine," combining the best of both medical worlds - refining conventional treatments with the addition of biological therapies, and setting new standards for a comprehensive holistic approach to the treatment of cancer. Miracles seem to be a normal occurrence here at St. George Hospital. Cures are always possible. At the very least, I see tumors shrinking and the disease kept under control. At best, I've seen patients who've been given only a few weeks or months to live, told by their doctors that their cases are utterly hopeless, go home completely cancer-free or very much improved. The only cases I have observed here which have gone downhill have been patients who were so damaged by conventional high-dose systemic chemotherapy and surgeries that they arrived here in very bad shape, having turned to complementary medicine far too late in the game. Surgeries here are extremely rare - as minor as possible and done only when absolutely necessary. Chemotherapy is used, but in low doses and in combination with treatments which maximize its destructive effects on cancer cells while minimizing side effects. In addition to conventional medicine (surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy) they offer nutritional supplements, detoxification, biological/nontoxic treatments that include phytotherapy, mistletoe, hormones, cytokines, biological response modifiers, immune therapy, hyperthermia, Galvanotherapy, and psychological therapies including group therapy, guided imagery and art therapy. We have received some positive and some negative reports on this clinic. We have heard they have done well with some prostate and breast cancers. However, the complaints we have received include: Some people have not been told upfront that it many need to go back to the clinic two or three times to complete treatment. Their standard program runs about $6,000 per week, with whole body hyperthermia costs an additional $2500 per session, so the cost to go two or three times can be prohibitive. We have heard they will consider financial constraints. We have also heard that some insurance companies will cover treatments at this facility. A couple of people said they were told that their tumors had reduced in size or that their cancer was gone, without adequate testing to verify this. Be sure you have appropriate tests to confirm how the treatment is working. Many find this clinic to be too conventional, so be sure to understand this in an "integrated" clinic. Patients are not always warned how taxing hyperthermia can be or that the low dose chemo can still have side effects, including hair loss. Be sure to ask about this. There have also been a couple of complaints about the food. The most positive reports we are hearing are coming from those with prostate cancer who did their complete program, not just the hyperthermia and low dose chemo. Per the clinic, you can contact a doctor weekdays (German time - they are 10 hours ahead of us) for a consultation. However, we have found the best way to contact them is by fax, sending your medical records for evaluation. If you email, they say it sometimes takes a few days to get back to you, so faxing seems to be the best option.
