דלקת?

ערב טוב, היום התחיל לי כאב בשד שמאל. חשבתי תחילה שהוא בגלל גודש, אולם לאחר שהילדה ינקה כמה פעמים מהשד, והרגשתי "התרוקנות" של השד, אני מניחה שמדובר במשהו אחר. הכאב הוא בחלק השד הקרוב לזרוע, ולכל אורך השד. האם מדובר בדלקת? ואם כן, מה לעשות? להפסיק להניק מצד זה? ללכת לרופא? הכאבים ממש מטרידים אותי. תודה, שרית

HI Sarit, I am in the USA so have no Hebrew font. if you have a daleket, the best thing is to keep breastfeeding from that side. Rest, drink lots of water, AND make sure your bra is not too tight. It could just be a pain which is not infected. Daleket usually has a red area, hot to the touch. First try to rest, AND get rid of infection AND empty breasts well. Only if you get a fever, AND the red area shows, then it is probably a daleket. If it doesn't get better after a day OR two, then go see the Doctor. Breastfeeding must continue no matter what. Ellen
