Seroxat-again

Hi,I've stopped with the pills[seroxat] a month AND a half ago [after more then a year] but I must take them again,do I need to start with half a pill AND for how long OR can I statrt with a pill straight away? How long will it take untill they'll have effect on me? [my doctor is too busy after Pesah to talk to me] Thank's
