streptococ

Dear Dr, I have a 7 month old baby,and I had positive on the strptococ test taken from the vagina, the Dr on the hospital during my deliery gave me antibiotic on the vagina.The delivery was very quikly,3 ohrs after the antibiotics,so the antibiotic did not have time to react...they took the baby for observation for 6 hours,and told me that everithing is ok.I read in this forum that it can have very bad efects,could you tell me if i have to be woried? you can write in hebrew...sorry for my eanglish

אמא יקרה, התינוק/ת שלך בן/ת 7 חודשים ועד עכשיו לא היתה כל בעיה. אין כל סיבה לדאוג או לחשוש מעכשיו. מדובר בתחלואה קרובה ללידה. בברכה,
