I'm traveling in Thailand AND 41 y.o 96 kg AND I got Infection in the Prostata. A week ago, I went to Orologist which gave me: for pain / anti inflammatory: PONSTAN - MEFENAMIC ACID 500 mg 3 times a day antibiotic: LEXINOR - NORFLOXACIN 400 mg 2 times a day I got much better AND the pain almost gone. However after one week the doctor told me to keep taking the LEXINOR - NORFLOXACIN but 200 mg(insted of 400mg) 2 times a day for one more week (About the PONSTAN he capt the dose the same) Please advice me! it doesn't sound right to reduce the antibiotic dose. In the meen time I keep take 400 mg 2 times a day. Is it right to do it? Thailand is great place but the doctors.... Thank Q AND hope for answer
this dr is om and he is right you must take the antibiotic at least 14 days and than do another test. i have not heard from you which test have you done before taking the antibiotics and what kind of disease you have
