There are 2 types of bleeding. 1. type 1 which is quite freightening is during a nosebleed, one may have bloody tears. There is a small connection between the nasal passage and the eye called the nasolacrimal duct. this is not a problem and self limited. 2. many patients have telangiectasia of the conjunctiva lining of the eye and they may bleed sponataneously. both are not a problem and stop spontaneously. no therapy needed but if any questions have patients go to an eye doctor and they will explanin. bob white
