chemo treatment pro's and con's

sorry about the English (i can read Hebreuw but not typing ) i am after the operation, they took off my left breast. now i am in chemo treatment,and i would like to hear about pro's and con's of chemo - i cant decide if to continue with the chmo or not. thanks, b

Dear Anna, thanks for the quick answer. my status is: i got in my left breast 5cm, 3cm AND some more cancers tumors, in addition i got tree metastasis in my lymph. i did the operation, need less to say they chose for amputation. my internist decided that the following treatment will give me about 70% chance to be clean: 4 chemo AC, 30 radiations, 4 chemo Taxol AND Herceptin, AND after all this one year Herceptin treatment. my tumor was sensitive for proteins AND for receptors. that is all that i know about it. i did already 2 chemo, AND now i negotiate to make only another 2 chemo with 75% concentration. i dont think that i will agree to have the last 4 chemo, it is far too much for me. my reaction to chemo- one week/7 days be in bed, cant eat at all, cant drink only few drops of water. hemorrhoids (heavy version), AND some other side effects that are 'normal' for this kind of treatment. any advice - please inform. thanks again, cheers, becky
