מספר ההנקות ביום

שלום רב, אני אמא לילד בן 7 שבועות במשקל 5.2 ק"ג(אחוזון 5-7.5), הוא יונק טוב אחת ל 4 שעות וכיוון שהוא ישן בלילה כ 8 שעות - מספר ההנקות במרווחים כאלה (4 שעות ) הוא 5, כאשר המלצה של כל הסובבים אותי ( כולל טיפת חלב) היא מינימום 6 ההנקות ביום. כדי לבצע זאת אני צריכה לההניק אותו במרווחים של 3 שעות, אבל הילד לא כל כך רעב ואז הוא יונק קצת. מה המלצתכם לעשות במצב כזה?

hI yAEL, If your baby is gaining well, AND is happy AND growing according to everyones expectation, then you really don't have to worry about feeding him over AND beyond his needs. He has to be drinking enough, so as not to dehydrate but one cannot force a baby to eat. If he is gaining more than 140 grams per week, on average, then i would not worry. He should have plenty of wet diapers, AND kaki a few times per day. Hope this helps. Ahuzonim aren't very helpful especially because Tipat Halav still uses the old graphs. There are new ones based on Breastfed babies, who are the norm. Ellen
