משך זמן להנקה...?

היי! ביתי בת החודש יונקת ושותה מבקבוק תמ"ל (משולבבהמלצת רופא), ביקרנו אצל יועצת הנקה שהסבירה להו על אחיזה וציינה שאין אצלנו בעיה (לא אצלי ולא אצל ביתי), עם זאת, ביתי מתעייפת מהר מאוד ונרדמת לי על השד, כך שכל הנקה יכולה להימשך גם שעה וחצי.... אני מנסה הצקות בטרם ההירדמות אך לא עוזר, יש דרך נוספת להתמודד?

hi sivan, i am still on vacation so can't typ e in hebrew. there is usually no reason at all that a mom should have to give tamal. if the baby falls asleep and does not eat then you should pump and give breastmilk at least until you find out what the problem is. go to a yoetzet who has a scale (mishkal) so she can weight the baby before and after and can also check if there is not some other problem regarding anatomia of the mouth. sometimes babys have a tongue tie which prevent them from eating well. (lashon kshura) a doctor should advise pumping rather than giving any baby inferior food. you probably don't have aproblem of amount of milk you are producing - just a problem that you baby isn't so interested. ellen
