genetic testing

good evening, My wife AND I are considering trying to have a baby but we heard you need to do genetic tests before starting.(taizax, broken x syndrum) because we are currently abroad it might take a few months before we can do the tests. should we wait until we can do the tests OR is it enough to do the tests later when we can (I am ashkenzay AND my wife is yemen).

as long as results are before 17 weeks of pregnanacy, it does not matter
