2 courses of antibiotics to treat UTI

Dear Dr. I have been diagnosed with UTI having had a urine analysis at 8 weeks pregnant. I was prescribed cephalexin for 7 days which I took for 5 days , realising it didn't help. I was then given another course of 7 weeks amoxicillin. to treat it. I am a bit concerned about the lenghth of the treatment AND mixing both antibiotics. Is it safe to be treated in this manner? Thanks

I was given a second dose of 7 day amoxicillin AND not 7 weeks. I am now 8+4 weeks pregnant. Thanks

It is not dangarous to the fetus the 2 antibiotics. But treating any infection partially, is not wise
