טיפול שורש שלא צלח

בני בן9 וחצי עבר טיפול שורש בשן חלבית. נאמר לי שהשורשים היו חזקים ויש כשנה עד שהשן תיפול ולכן בצעו טיפול שורש. לאחר יום בני התלונן על כאבים נוראיים והחל נוטל 10 ימי אנטיביוטיקה בהוראת הרופא.מצילום שנערך לאחר הטיפול נמצא כי הנוזל של טיפול השורש יצא מתחתית השן ולכן נאמר לנו שיש לעקור את השן.בנתיים בהמתנה לעקירה הכאבים פסקו ונראה שעל פניו המצב הסתדר. האומנם? האם בכ"ז צריך לעקור את השן?

שלום רותי, לדעתי, במידה ואין סימנים של דלקת או זיהום המסכנים את נבט השן הקבועה (לא בבדיקה ולא בצילום). אפשר להמתין ולעקוב, במידה ויתפתח סימן כלשהו לשקול מחדש. בהצלחה, ד"ר רוזן-ולטר.
