תודה, מענין מאד. כדאי לעקוב אחרי התיאוריות האלה - אולי יחד אם ההנדסה הגנטית והמחקר הכימי כמוסבר בכתבה, אפשר יהיה להגיע להפחתה משמעותית של המחלה המפחידה שנקראת סרטן.

Now the trick will be to discover their secret. Zeng Cui, MD, PhD, and colleagues at Wake Forest University didn't set out to breed super mice. They were just doing cancer studies in which lab mice are injected with deadly cancer cells. This cancer forms tumors in all known breeds of mice and rats. It always kills them in three or four weeks. Make that almost always. One male mouse didn't die. The researchers tried again. The mouse still didn't die. It "remained healthy and cancer free, and eventually died of old age after a normal lifespan," Cui says in a news release. But before this mighty mouse died, he was bred several times with normal mice. About half the offspring -- just like the original mouse -- couldn't get cancer. When injected with deadly cancer cells, these mice mount an incredibly effective immune response. Their white blood cells swarm the cancer cells and remove them without harming normal cells. White blood cells from these cancer-proof mice can protect normal mice from cancer. Apparently the cancer-proof mice have a genetic mutation that protects them. It's eerily similar to something that happens -- rarely -- in humans. Some people with advanced tumors suddenly have their cancers go away. It's called spontaneous regression. Nobody knows why spontaneous regression happens. Cui and colleagues hope that the mice hold the key. "These observations suggest a previously unrecognized mechanism by which the body can fight off cancer," Cui says. "[The discovery] may have potential for better therapy or prevention of cancer in people." Cui suggests that the secret may also explain why some people never get cancer even though they smoke cigarettes or are exposed to other cancer-causing substances. לדני בכל מקרה לא נראה לי סביר שדיאטה ללא סידן תפתור את הבעיה. אני מזכיר לך שגם תינוק( להבדיל אלף הבדלות) לוקח את הסידן שהוא צריך מהגוף של האמא גם אם היא לא אוכלת גבינות וכו' ואז יש פגיעה בציפרניים והעצמות של האמא. נראה שהמדובר בתהליך תוך תאי ויצטרכו למצא את הדרך להוריד את הסידן באברי המטרה מבלי לפגוע ביתר האברים או התפקודים של הגוף התלויים בסידן. ד"ר אריאלי

gubi שלום זה מאד מעניין , אבל לא ברור למה זה לא מתפרסם בספרות רופאית כדי שאפשר יהיה לעשות מחקרים נוספים שיוכיחו או ישללו את הממצאים. הערה נוספת : המדובר בסידן תוך תאי. לא בטוח שדיטה ללא סידן יכולה לשנות את הסידן התוך תאי. סידן הרי יש בגוף ממילא ( עצמות וכו') , הגוף אינו יכול לתפקד ללא סידן . השאלה אם ימצאו תכשירים שישפיעו על הסידן הגבוה התוך תאי , מבלי לפגוע באתרים אחרים כמו למשל אוסטאופורוזיס בעצמות וכו'. איני בטוח בכלל שזה רק עיניין של דיטה בלבד. ד"ר אריאלי . נ.ב. מה לעשות אנחנו לא סוסים , לא נראה לי שמישהו ירצה לחיות על קש בלבד. ביי
