Dear Dr. I am 51 years of age AND in good health.Lately I have had many emotional problems , family crises which have led to me 'breaking down' AND getting hysterical. My G.P. has given me the above medication. I am taking only 1/2 mg daily AND find that I am much calmer- can this be taken on a long term basis as I believe it can become addictive.? Is it dangerous to take it long term if the dosage is small- -I think it's 'healthier' to be calm with a little medication . You may answer in Hebrew.

at these levels it dosen't make any harm AND can be taken for quite a long time. with this said, I'd suggest an additional psychological treatment at least for the recent time until the crisis is over.
