hi, my father just wrote you below AND I have some more questions: the co worker who was diagnoised with TB informed us that her Doctor confimed that she has TB but is not sure if it is contagious OR not. he mentioned that there are 4 different types of the it will take 3 days until she get the results. from what I read so far it is contagious AND I must check it. what worries me most is that I read that since I got the BCG vaccine when I was born I may get a positive result AND this test is not effective. shouldn't I ask to get for a prevention treatment even if the test result is negative. I have another question if I do need to take the prevention treatment does it mean that I can't get pregnant for a long period? thanks, anat

אין סיבה להיסטריה מיידית, וכדאי להמתין לתוצאות הבדיקה של השותף לעבודה. אם הוא מדבק, יש מקום לטיפול מונע, ללא קשר לתוצאת הבדיקה שלך (שאכן עלולה לצאת חיובית לאור העובדה שחוסנת בעבר). בכל מקרה כדאי שתעשי את הטסט. יש אפשרות לבדוק גם אם יש חיידקי שחפת בליחה או במיצי הקיבה וניתן לבקש לבצע גם את הבדיקה הזו. לגבי הטיפול - לא ניתן להכנס להריון במהלכו, אבל עם סיום הטיפול אין שום בעיה להכנס להריון.
