My husband is going through a chemiotherapy treatment because he's suffering from colon cancer (stage 3. Unfortunately his peripheral neuropathy has been aggravated and I was told that Omrigam may be an excellent option to alleviate the symptoms. Thank you for your reply!

Hi lidia, Peripheral neuropathy is a well known complication of various protocols of chemotherapy. the neuropathy might be specific chemotherapy-dependent. In general, it tends to be a relatively resistent condition to treatment. IVIG = IntaVenous ImmunoGlobulin infusion such as Omrigam is a kind of therapy that has been employed for various medical conditions, including peripheral neuropathy. for this purpose it is still regarded as experimental. other medicaions might be cosidered as well. The best thing to do is to consult the oncologist.
