talking douring the treatment

how can i help to my patient to stop talking duoring all the treatment, i try a lot of ways but he energy has been chengh to uncamfteble

Dear Ella Can I ask what is the kind of treatment that you are giving? In massage some will cry, some will yell and some will talk during the treatment. These are all very legitimate reactions for treatment. You can listen (and stop working on the body) and let the patient express his feelings and unload the pressure. This is also a double hint (don’t verbally express it- let him understand it by himself): first you make a point that it is either massage or talking. Second you give space and attention to the talking. I would also use aromatic oil to calm the patient down - anti stress and anxiety aromatic oils can help here.
