Tri Vi Sol+ iron

Dear Dr. Danny Shenhar, My child, 2.5 month old, is breast feeding. Amonth ago I was advised by his pediatrician to give him the Tri Vi Sol (vitamins A,C AND D) with iron (1 ml). I would like to know what is the recommendation in Israel for iron AND vitamins supplement. When do you start giving them AND if it is necessary for breast-feeding infants. As far as I know, breast milk should contain iron AND is much more efficient than formulas in supplying iron because of the lactoferrin. The thing is my child doesn’t like this solution, cries even before I introduce it to him AND spits it out. If I could save him the trouble without causing him healt and/or development problems I would gladly do so. Thank you for your advice.
