My son is one year and 9 months old. He is allergic to all dairy products and to dishes that have fried or cooked eggs. His reaction is very extreme - He gets really congested, his nose gets stuffy and his eyes teary, his face swells, his eyes itch, he gets bumps all over his body (mainly on his face). In general he is miserable. We noticed that allergy when he was an infant and I breast fed him, after I had a dairy meal, he usually will get congested, and have a rash on his face. Today we gave him Halva to eat. It was parve kosher, so I assumed no dairy products in it, and eggs was not in the list of ingredients. He had sesame in the past and was ok with it. After eating the halva he had one of these nasty allergic reactions. Can you advise as to what is the allergenic ingredient in the halva that would trigger this reaction? Is there something common to all the products I described that my son is allergic to? Is there a treatment? Thank you for the help.
