need advice

hello , my dad is diabetic and was hospitalized for complications 5 months ago.. he is suppose to fly a 12 hours flight this week...is there any precautions or special things he will nedd to take alone for the flight itself? Thank u!

Hi Zoe, Nothing special. Don't forget the pils or the equipment for Insulin. And some glucose tablets if your dad can fall in hypo sitaution. You can get special diet lunch/ dinner from the flight agency. They are prepared about. Have a nice trip.

Dear Zoe, From my experience it would also be useful to ask for an aisle seat - diabetics tend to visit the oo rather frequently. Also taking one or two bottles of water can help. bon voyage, miaw
