sebaceous cysts

Dear Dcoctor, My son of 21 years old has three sebaceous cysts on his abdominal wall. He has been told that they are nothing but he reckons that they bother him.He is going to have them surgically removed. Is this a dangerous procedure - from what he has said they will cut them out. Do they not aspirate cysts with a needle? Is this a common thing AND do they do a biopsy on them.? I can't seem to get much information from my son !He will be having the surgery at Ichilov- - is the department up to standard? He is an officer AND I can't get much information out of him!
