Hernia far away from home

Hello, I am travelling in india AND was diagnosed with Hernia 2 days ago Its a minor hernia, barely visible. most noticable for the asimmetry. its about the size of a thumb AND barely hurts the intestine goes back to stomach when i lay down on bed The doctor who diagnosed it said i can continue travel if i dont make big physical efforts OR carry heavy weights. I'm very dubious AND anxious about my trip's future. is it safe to travel with a small hernia? is it okay to make long walks (4-7 hours a day) with no weight on me? how can i know if the situation of hernia aggravates? only by size AND pain? please help decide quickly wether to go home AND operate OR travel easily. many thanks!

Hi Omer. It is very difficalt to advise .Hernia need operation, there is no other treatment , the question is when ? so if you feel sudenly pain -unusual in the groin go immediatly to see a doctor.

so basicly if i travel with light weight on me, making no physical big efforts, AND if the hernia is reduceable AND not hurting i can continue travelling? from what ive understood, even if i go home theres a big chance i'll wait for months for operation since my hernia isn't accute.
