Dear Dr. I am an Israeli but I am currently in the U.S., that is way I am writing in English. After suffering severe pains in my back AND stomach for four days, I went to the emergency room (in the U.S.) AND they told me that I have small stones in my kidney AND a cyst (3 cm) near my ovaries. They told me I can not do anything with the stones, AND if they get bigger than I will need to get my kidney removed. Is there a way (in Israel) to remove the stones now without waiting to see if things get worse? Furthermore, the doctor in the emergency told me that there is no need to remove the cyst until it grows bigger (6 cm) AND that it won’t affect my ability to get pregnant. I need to hear another opinion because it sounds very strange to me that I have to wait until it gets worse. 1. Should I get it removed? 2. Will this affect my ability to get pregnant?
