Prometrium - sides affect s to fetus / misscarridg

I'm 12 weeks pregnant. Due to a low level of progesterone (13) early on in prenancy I was put on prometrium 3 times a day 200 mg. vaginally. I was told today to stop taking the prometrium since I finished the first trimester. Is there any side affects to the fetus at this point AND is there any chance of having a misscariridge after stopping taking the hormone who basically supports the pregnancy. I had 2 misscarridges in the past thank you for your help

Any medication should be taken only if indicated.It is probabale that u dont need progesterone anymore. misscarriage can happen at any stage, but is less likely after 12 weeks. Consult your doctor.
